This iconic little church is super photogenic, set in a gorgeous meadow with those amazing Dolomite peaks right behind it. 🌲✨ It’s a quick, easy walk from the parking area, and the view is totally worth it. Just be sure to stick to marked paths and respect the surrounding property.

This is one of the city’s most iconic buildings on an old pagan temple site with 11 side chapels, and its classical architecture is beautiful both inside and out. I joined a guided tour of the crypts beneath the cathedral, and it was fascinating to learn about the past rulers and saints tied to this place. If you’re interested in history, I highly recommend booking the tour in advance. It’s a peaceful and impressive spot that really showcases the city’s rich history.

Parròquia de Sant Pacià

In Sant Andreu you find a quiet neo-Gothic church with an early work by Antoni Gaudí at your feet. Joan Torras Guardiola designed the church and asked his former student to draw the floor mosaic. It runs along the central nave and transept with floral and geometric motifs and the initials J and M from the original convent school.
