The spot where Julius Caesar was cremated still draws visitors, leaving flowers as a tribute. Seeing remnants like the Temple of Vesta and the Curia, where senators once gathered, made us feel connected to the past in a way that’s hard to describe. It wasn’t just about seeing old stones—it was about feeling the stories that shaped an empire.
