🏕️ West Coast National Parks

If you want to spend a few days at thing park (& you should) make sure to spend a night or 2 inside the park at one of the campgrounds! Death valley is huge & you can spend up to 2 hours just driving into the park everyday from outside campsites. The spots are basic, but beautiful & some even have full hook up! Also perfect service here for verizon.

Tunnel log is only accessible by car in the summer months, so the rest of the year it is a fun 4 mile trail. We mad it a loop by taking the road to tunnel log and then the forest trail back to the visitors center!

A short, but steep MUST DO hike!! We hiked the trail on a rainy day, but if you are lucky in the sun its usually covered in rainbows. Very popular trail, so try and hike first thing & bring a rain jacket. Even if it is sunny the falls will soak you!

On the way into the park we stopped here for the view & to make breakfast. People say the view is best here at sunset!!

A quick stop off to see the falls & break up your drive! We even saw a couple be married here on our trip.

A 4 mile out and back trail & great place to stop for a packed lunch. When you think of sequoia, you usually think of the towering trees, but this is a different area of the park with views of the rolling hills!!

A look out point and small walk if you want it to be! We explored the dunes in search of some cool photo spots ands its well worth playing around in the sand for a bit!
