A little gem and one of those places you’d probably walk past without noticing, but trust us, you need to stop in. It’s a tiny, family-run joint where the food is as authentic as it gets. We grabbed a seat at a small table, and when the satay hit the table, we knew we were in for a treat. Perfectly grilled, smoky, and packed with flavor. The nasi goreng had just the right amount of kick too. It’s the kind of place that reminds you why simple, local food is always a win.

Crumb & Coaster quickly became our go-to for breakfast in Kuta. The coffee here is top-notch, rich, smooth, and the perfect pick-me-up to start the day. We would love to come back just for the avocado toast, which was so tasty, super fresh, and loaded with toppings. The whole café has a cool, laid-back vibe that made it easy to linger over breakfast and plan our day there. This Canggu restaurant is where you go when you want to taste the heart of Bali. The food here is all about the classics like Nasi Campur and Mie Goreng, done right. This restaurant was recommended by a local who promised us the best Balinese home-cooked meal we could find, and they were spot on. It’s nothing fancy, but for budget travelers, it’s a solid choice that feels like home.

This resort was our little oasis in the heart of Kuta. It’s a budget-friendly spot, but with a beautiful pool and tropical gardens that made it feel way more luxurious. The rooms were simple but comfy, and it was awesome to be just a short walk from the beach. We spent our days lounging by the pool and our evenings strolling to the beach to catch the sunset. It wasn’t just a place to stay. It truly felt like a home away from home.

Okay, so Waroeng Sushi in Canggu totally blew us away. We weren’t expecting much, but the sushi here is legit, super fresh and flavorful. It’s a small spot, nothing fancy, but the quality is right up there with some of the best sushi we’ve had. We let the chef take the reins with an omakase, and every bite was a pleasant surprise. If you’re in Bali and craving sushi, this is the place to go.

We were looking for something nourishing and stumbled upon this gem. The food is all plant-based and raw, but it’s so flavorful and creative, you don’t even miss the cooked stuff. The raw desserts are a game-changer and the food incorporates the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, Chinese, Macrobiotic perspective. It’s the kind of place where you leave feeling good. If you’re into the idea that food can be medicine, this place is a must-visit.
