Grandma's Home Cooking School in Chiang Mai offers an authentic culinary experience that you won't forget. Located in a village in the Saraphi District, just 20 minutes from the city center, the school provides a perfect sneak peak of Thai culture and cuisine. The cooking school itself is situated on a beautiful organic farm. We toured the farm, tasting and smelling different herbs, and even met the well-cared-for chickens whose eggs we used in our recipes. Totally recommend it!

The crystal-clear waters are perfect for swimming and snorkeling, with easy access to nearby dive sites. I enjoyed sipping a cocktail at a beachfront bar adn watching the sunset.

This market also known as Lard Yai, is held every Sunday evening on Thalang Road in Phuket Town. It’s a favorite among both locals and tourists for its variety of street food available, from grilled pork neck and deep-fried pork belly to Thai durian and steamed pork buns. The market is clean and well-organized. Although it can get crowded, especially around 7 PM, it’s still worth the visit.

There you can find lots of weird things to try: insects, scorpios, and crocodile meat. It can get really busy at night, so if you’d like to avoid crowds or secure a good spot to sit and eat comfortably, go when they open around 4 or 5 pm. Personal advice: try the mango smoothie. It’s delicious.
