Grandma's Home Cooking School in Chiang Mai offers an authentic culinary experience that you won't forget. Located in a village in the Saraphi District, just 20 minutes from the city center, the school provides a perfect sneak peak of Thai culture and cuisine. The cooking school itself is situated on a beautiful organic farm. We toured the farm, tasting and smelling different herbs, and even met the well-cared-for chickens whose eggs we used in our recipes. Totally recommend it!

It can get really busy at night, so if you’d like to avoid crowds or secure a good spot to sit and eat comfortably, go when they open around 4 or 5 pm. Personal advice: try the mango smoothie. It’s delicious.
