It’s a great place to enjoy a breakfast while admiring the views to the river. The Thai tea is really tasty, the food is flavorful and the staff is really friendly. You couldn’t ask for more.

This massive statue, stretching 46 meters long and covered in gold leaf is so big it looks like the temple was built around it. I loved exploring the temple grounds, which are full of beautiful architecture and serene spaces. A particularly memorable moment was dropping coins into the 108 bronze bowls for good luck, a tradition that added a special touch to our visit. The temple is located near the Grand Palace, which means it doesn’t get as many tourists as other temples and is less crowded. I recommend going early to avoid the crowds and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

Known for its electrifying atmosphere, the party attracts thousands of revelers who come to dance, enjoy live music, and partake in various beachside festivities. Mai Khao Beach, also known as Aeroplane Beach, is a unique spot in Phuket where you can experience the thrill of planes flying low overhead as they land at Phuket International Airport. Super close to the airport (obviously) and with clean water, this beach is breathtaking beautiful.

This Phuket waterpark is a must-visit destination for families and thrill-seekers alike. Spanning over 90,000 square meters, the park offers a blend of modern attractions and Thai cultural elements. There’s a 10-rai wave pool, capable of generating waves up to 3 meters high, and the lazy river, which is the longest in Thailand. It’s the perfect mix of fun and relaxation.

The flavors are rich, the portions generous, and the prices affordable, making it a must-visit on Koh Tao. Grandma's Home Cooking School in Chiang Mai offers an authentic culinary experience that you won't forget. Located in a village in the Saraphi District, just 20 minutes from the city center, the school provides a perfect sneak peak of Thai culture and cuisine. The cooking school itself is situated on a beautiful organic farm. We toured the farm, tasting and smelling different herbs, and even met the well-cared-for chickens whose eggs we used in our recipes. Totally recommend it!

This shopping destination listed as one of the most beautiful malls in the world includes two high-end shopping malls, a riverside park, and various entertainment options. A standout feature of Icon Siam is Sook Siam, an indoor floating market on the ground floor that showcases Thai culture, arts, and cuisine from all over the country. It’s like a mini Thailand under one roof, with beautifully decorated stalls and a wide variety of traditional foods and crafts. I particularly enjoyed walk and try different thai foods from various regions. It’s open every day from 10 AM to 10 PM, making it perfect for a day out.

This cafe is a beautifully decorated spot that makes you feel like you’re lost in a fairytale. The entry fee is 60 baht but can be used for consumption. The food is quite good (not the best) but the location is so Instagrammable, way better than I expected. The portion of the dishes were huge and there’s a beautiful waterfall. Totally recommended.

This beach club on Bang Tao Beach is the best destination for sun-seekers and nightlife enthusiasts in Phuket. It offers a seamless transition from relaxing beachfront days to lively evening festivities. The excellent music, delicious cocktails, and a diverse menu that includes Asian tapas and burgers make this club a must and an ideal spot for enjoying a day by the sea or dancing the night away. I recommend it if you want to enjoy a good party.

Sairee Beach on Koh Tao is the island's most popular beach. It stretches for 1.85 km and offers relaxation and beach activities. It’s the perfect spot for enjoying the nightlife with numerous beach bars and restaurants lining the shore. The crystal-clear waters are perfect for swimming and snorkeling, with easy access to nearby dive sites. I enjoyed sipping a cocktail at a beachfront bar adn watching the sunset.

This market also known as Lard Yai, is held every Sunday evening on Thalang Road in Phuket Town. It’s a favorite among both locals and tourists for its variety of street food available, from grilled pork neck and deep-fried pork belly to Thai durian and steamed pork buns. The market is clean and well-organized. Although it can get crowded, especially around 7 PM, it’s still worth the visit.

Tha Pai Hot Springs, offers a relaxing and rejuvenating experience in a beautiful natural setting. Located within the Huai Nam Dang National Park, the springs feature a series of pools with varying temperatures, from comfortably warm to nearly boiling. The top pools are too hot for bathing, but the lower ones provide perfect spots to soak and relax. Entry costs around 300 Baht, and there are amenities like toilets and changing rooms on-site. If you want to avoid crowds, try to arrive early.
