Tha Phae Walking Street
Stretching from Tha Pae Gate to Wat Phra Singh, this market comes alive every Sunday from 4 PM to 10 PM. It's packed with stalls selling everything from handmade crafts and jewelry to clothing, souvenirs and street food. The market is extremely popular, so it's best to arrive early to avoid the heaviest crowds. By 6 PM, the area can get very busy, making it difficult to navigate. I recommend starting around 4:30 PM to enjoy a leisurely browse before it gets too packed. And, if you see something you like, buy it right away, as it can be hard to find the same stall again in the sea of vendors.
