CDMX: The Black Archive

Forget the bright colors and tourist traps. From hidden basement boutiques in Roma to high-fashion occultism in the Historic Center, this route hits the spots where subculture is still alive. It’s a mix of industrial hardware, Victorian lace, and early 2000s rave gear for those who only wear black.

Tianguis La Lagunilla

By @KevinLopez

La Lagunilla is one of Mexico City’s most historic and legendary open-air markets (tianguis). While the fixed neighborhood markets operate daily, the world-famous "Sunday Tianguis" transforms the streets into a massive flea market. It is a sprawling labyrinth where you can find everything from 19th-century French furniture and rare vinyl records to high-fashion vintage and the city's best "micheladas."
