Our meal at Tonnarello was everything we hoped for and more. Despite the crowds and a bit of a wait, the food was well worth the wait. We started with their famous cacio e pepe, and it was everything you’d want—creamy, with just the right kick of pepper. The carbonara was another favorite, rich and flavorful with perfectly cooked pasta. The portions were generous, and even though the restaurant was packed, the staff took the time to chat with us and made us feel welcome. Sitting outside in the middle of Trastevere added something special to the meal, with the streets full of life around us.
