Important statue overlooking the city from the hills, you can reach it via cable car and get amazing views over Tbilisi

Great spot to get a drink and watch the sunset. This pop-up bar may be small but it has friendly staff, serves amazing cocktails and has beer on tap for just 5 lari!

Nice little coffee hut close to the beachfront that serves takeaway coffees for 5-7 lari (cash only).

Georgia's deepest canyon with a suspension walkway above that leads to a viewing platform - if you're afraid of heights then this one probably isn't for you! Entry costs 20 GEL per person and the easiest way to get here is by a transfer service to the cave and canyons - we did this through GetYourGuide (see link) as there was no direct public transport to get here from Kutaisi.

Historic thermal spa baths

Juta is a village in the mountains and the nearby valley is a great place to go hiking. If you don't have a car then you will need to pre-book a shared transfer from Stepantsminda to reach Juta, or a more expensive alternative is to go by taxi.
