Zojo-ji Temple
By @mauiandtrizzy
Zojo ji is the main temple of Jodo shu Buddhism, set right in front of Tokyo Tower. The grounds feel serene and a bit majestic, with shrines, memorials, and a tree planted by former US president Ulysses S. Grant in 1879.
Address: 4-chōme-7-35 Shibakōen, Minato City, Tokyo 105-0011, Japan
Why go
Compared to Senso ji which is more famous, this place feels calmer and less crowded.
Vibe
Very calm and quiet.
Tips
Come here for a quiet moment of reflection.
