soba place we ate at. the lunch set was soooo good. we also got hot sake because it was raining loads. 10/10

must visit museum, the building is just so stunning inside. free entry and only some of the exhibitions are paid. the inside is a famous scene from the movie "your name"

i would deffo visit this place whenever going to asakusa. there is a view point at the top where you can look over kaminarimon and sensoji and it's not usually very busy. completely free.

very cool building inside and also has some really cute shops. worth going into if you're in the area

highly recommend this spot. beautiful inside looking out onto traditional gardens. not busy at all. you can order green tea and wagashi to your table and just rest and enjoy the peacefulness

loved this park because i am a huge fan of the rolling slides since i was a kid. you can go down this one with a view of skytree behind you

dangerous place to visit if you like cute things. you will want to buy everything. all your favourite character stores and lots of exclusive merch.

obsessed with going here. it's iconic and they always have good merch and it's great to explore all the vinyls and cds across multiple floors.

chill out spot with tokyo tower views

big and popular park especially in sakura season

i don't like wasabi and this experience was still amazing! they take you walking through the forest up to where they grow the wasabi. you then pick, wash and grate your own wasabi and eat it with rice right there in the forest. it was really spicy for me but if you mix it well with the rice, i could manage!

perfect for a stroll, picnic, dog walk, bike ride (rental and cycle path available here). also beautiful for cherry blossom season and autumn leaves.

the most iconic place to shop tokyo fashion. literally japanstamom used to shop here when she was young and i still love it today

very nice shrine, popular for the azalea garden when it's in bloom. also has a nice section of torii gates and peaceful areas. street food and stalls are available on occasion.

this burger place was good, tasty and cheap. it's below the im donut store so prepare for it to get busy. we arrived at 11:30 on the weekend and there was no line.

i love crossing this bridge by bike. great cycle route in tokyo to go between shiba rikyu/hama rikyu gardens towards ginza

beautiful shrine in the akasaka area. there is a tunnel of torii gates which is a popular photo spot.

good shopping street for thrifting

one of my FAV places to shop in tokyo. so many good fashion stores

this outlet park is a little bit of a journey from central tokyo but if you want a good shopping day, it's worth it imo. it was so quiet there. i went during the new year sales and the discounts were great. it's dog friendly so you see lots of cute doggos shopping with their owners. great vibes.

perfect photo spot to capture sakura around february time with tokyo skytree and train passing in the background

underrated area of tokyo and away from the super busy areas. great place to cycle along the river and relax.

This is a very peaceful and mindful activity to do that is still in Tokyo but you'd never believe it. People travel from all over the world to experience this forest therapy.
