    Dairy archaeology in a city that adores its afternoon snacks with chocolate. This is where Cacaolat, a Catalan icon, was born, and all it takes is sitting here to feel the weight of that history on your shoulders (and in your glass of hot chocolate with whipped cream).

    Boadas Cocktails

    A cocktail bar remembered because Hemingway used to frequent it, but the ghost that truly matters here is Miquel Boadas, who in 1933 brought the Caribbean spirit and the savoir-faire of La Floridita (Cuba) to a little alley off Tallers. Here, the shaker isn’t shaken, it’s officiated.
