Also known as the Devils Marbles, this spot ended up being one of our favourite stops on the trip. Giant granite boulders are scattered across the landscape and look like something from a film set. We decided to camp overnight, and while the facilities are simple, there is nothing quite like falling asleep under a sky full of stars. A quick note for planners: it can get busy, so be sure to book your spot ahead of time. The colours, the peacefulness, and the unique vibe make this a place you will not want to miss.

We’re Raul and Nicole, a mediterranean couple (from Spain and Italy) that fell in love with Australia and started exploring it on our van. We’ve covered a big part of the wild and authentic Australia in our travels, and also explored lesser know routes to come up with the best spots where you can surf, sleep in your van, eat and explore.
