Kings Canyon

We had our eyes on this spectacular spot so we decided to visit it. We started with the famous Rim Walk, which kicks off with a steep climb up 500 steps, but it gets easier after that. The views are incredible, with breathtaking cliffs and rock formations that make it worth the effort. One of our favorite parts was reaching the Garden of Eden, a hidden waterhole that feels like an oasis in the middle of the canyon. Make sure to go early in the morning to avoid the heat and carry plenty of water because the temperatures can rise quickly. For a bit of variety, the Kings Creek Walk is an easier option and still offers great scenery.

We’re Raul and Nicole, a mediterranean couple (from Spain and Italy) that fell in love with Australia and started exploring it on our van. We’ve covered a big part of the wild and authentic Australia in our travels, and also explored lesser know routes to come up with the best spots where you can surf, sleep in your van, eat and explore.
