Barrow Creek is one of those tiny Outback spots you might just drive past, but we’re glad we stopped. It’s got a population of about 11, so don’t expect much going on, but that’s part of the charm. The old Barrow Creek Hotel is the main attraction, filled with all sorts of old photos and quirky bits from years gone by. It’s pretty basic, and yeah, a bit rough around the edges, but the staff were super friendly and welcoming. If you’re cruising along the Stuart Highway, it’s a great spot to take a break.
