- MartiniqueAnse MichelWhat I love about Anse Michel is how peaceful it is—no big resorts, no noisy crowds, just nature at its best. The white sand is super soft, and there are plenty of trees if you want some shade. Just a heads-up: if you come on a windy day, it can feel a bit stronger than other beaches, but that’s what makes it fun for sports!Beach
- DominicaMero BeachThe beach's black volcanic sand and clear blue waters create a stunning contrast that's perfect for photography. The beach is lined with local bars and restaurants, providing a taste of Dominican cuisine and culture. You can also rent sun loungers and umbrellas if you want to just relax.Beach
- DominicaCoco CascadesA true hidden gem. The waterfall flows into these clear, blue-green pools, and the whole area is surrounded by jungle. The water is refreshing but not too cold—perfect for a dip. The walk to get here isn’t long, but it’s a bit tricky with some rocks and tree roots to navigate. Once you arrive, though, it’s breathtaking.
- DominicaBatibou BayA hidden gem worth the effort. If you love adventure, you’ll love Batibou. It’s a bit tricky to get to—a bumpy road and a short hike—but once you arrive, it’s pure magic. The beach is stunning, with palm trees lining the shore and barely any people around. There’s usually a small shack selling drinks and snacks, but it’s best to bring your own just in case.Beachpremium Only

La Galleria
The mall offers numerous parking spots and houses a large grocery store, making it convenient for both locals and tourists. There are also several fast-food outlets and restaurants to choose from.
Wavine Cyrique Falls
Not your average waterfall. This isn’t a place you just walk up to. The climb down is intense, and the access to the beach and the bottom of the waterfall is only for the prepared. But you can have access to the upper part, which is beautiful and worth it.

I loved this place! The tour is short but amazing. They have over 20 rums and liqueurs, and you get to pour your own. The staff are great, cracking jokes while explaining how it’s all made. Super fun and relaxed.

Also known as La Pleasure Beach, you can enjoy here the ocean views and beach activities like horseback riding and beach sports. Diamond Beach
A beach with chunks of icebergs wash up on shore. If you don't get to see any huge ones, there are plenty of little ones out there that are super pretty. Absolutely love that spot. It is really cool to see the contrast between the ice and then just the sheer black sand.
Broken Beach
A true hidden gem in the Bali island Nusa Penida. Unique geological formation with clear and turquoise water.
Víkurfjara Black Sand Beach
Another black sand beach near Vik. Looks a lot like Reynisfjara but with fewer people. The waves are still wild, the cliffs are still crazy, and it’s just an epic place to take in Iceland’s coastline.

Kawana Beach
If you’re looking to surf on the Sunshine Coast, Kawana Beach is a fantastic choice. Known for its consistent waves, it’s a great spot for surfers of all levels. The long stretch of sandy beach provides plenty of space to catch some waves without feeling crowded. We spent the day here surfing and swimming and we ended our day watching the sunset here. Honestly, it was one of the most peaceful moments of our trip.

The Wreck
This spot is part of Belongil beach at Byron Bay and is a good place for surfing. It’s named after the shipwreck of the Wollongbar that sunk in 1922, and you can see it peeking out of the water just offshore. We loved how raw and wild this spot felt, especially with the waves crashing over the wreck. We went there for snorkeling and we would definitely go again.

Cotton Tree Beach
This beach totally surprised us. We stumbled on it while exploring and ended up loving how chill it was. It’s perfect if you’re into paddleboarding or just want to hang by the water without the big crowds. We brought a picnic, found a shady spot, and just relaxed for hours. It’s got this super local vibe that makes you feel like you’ve found a hidden gem. There are plenty of amenities nearby, including cafes, shops, and picnic areas. The best part: it’s the perfect spot to park your van and spend a comfortable night!

Surfers Paradise
Honestly, Surfers Paradise blew us away. It’s got that perfect mix of laid-back beach vibes and city energy. We spent the morning hitting the waves, and by the afternoon, we were grabbing ice cream and walking along the esplanade. At night, the whole place lights up, and you can find tons of places to eat, drink, and just soak up the atmosphere. It’s one of those spots you could come back to again and again and never get bored.
