This canyon was a surprise end is amazing, like amazing. It’s the most beautiful place we have ever seen with our eyes. That being said, to get up there, it’s about a two to four hour hike. So we recommend going as far as you can because the viewpoints just get better and better.

Altopiano delle Pale di San Martino

Altopiano delle Pale di San Martino is this rocky plateau way up in the Dolomites. 🌄 You can take the Funivia Rosetta from San Martino di Castrozza to get there, and once you do, it’s like you’ve got the mountains ALL to yourself. 🥾 It’s rugged and kinda wild, so wear good hiking boots and bring plenty of water. The views are so worth it. 💚

Mondeval is a hidden gem in the Dolomites. 🏔️✨The open meadows here feel endless, surrounded by epic mountain views. The hike takes you through rocky paths, leading up to wide-open views of the surrounding peaks. If you’re into history, you’ll find some cool archaeological sites along the way.

The Meadows of Armentara

This is such a peaceful spot to explore! 🌸⛰️ You’ll see a variety of wildflowers and even rare orchids. The views are absolutely stunning, and the trails are super easy to follow. It’s a great spot if you’re looking to relax and enjoy nature.

This mountain pass is seriously epic. 🌲✨ Every curve reveals another jaw-dropping view of the surrounding peaks. There are plenty of photo spots, and the well-maintained roads make it easy to explore.

Tre Cime di Lavaredo

This area is absolutely STUNNING. ✨ The views from every angle of Tre Cime are insane, and the trail is super well-marked. You’ll find tons of photo ops and even a few rifugios along the way to grab a coffee or a snack.

Passo Giau is so gorgeous and super easy to explore. 🏔️✨ The views here are absolutely incredible, with dramatic peaks and wide-open meadows. It’s a picture-perfect spot for photos, and there are even a few trails nearby if you feel like a short walk.

Located in the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park, Prato Piazza is perfect for enjoying incredible alpine scenery. 🏔️✨ The plateau’s wide, open meadows and panoramic mountain views are totally worth a visit. It’s super easy to get there by car or shuttle bus, though during peak season, you’ll need to plan around the road restrictions.

Cortina is known as the “Queen of the Dolomites” for a reason. 🏔️✨ It’s got everything: amazing hiking trails, world-class skiing, and a fun, lively atmosphere. Whether you’re hitting the slopes in winter or exploring the gorgeous trails in summer, you’ll love the mix of outdoor adventure and alpine charm. Just remember to book your stay early if you’re visiting during peak ski season. ⛷️
