Vilnius Cathedral
This is one of the city’s most iconic buildings on an old pagan temple site with 11 side chapels, and its classical architecture is beautiful both inside and out. I joined a guided tour of the crypts beneath the cathedral, and it was fascinating to learn about the past rulers and saints tied to this place. If you’re interested in history, I highly recommend booking the tour in advance. It’s a peaceful and impressive spot that really showcases the city’s rich history.

This modern cathedral was consecrated in 1986. It has a 73 meters tower (you need to pay to go up to the top). The interior is beautiful, but modest in comparison.
Reyniskirkja Church
Beautiful little red roof church overlooking Vík and the black sand beaches. Great at sunset, colors hit hard, incredible. Free to visit, parking nearby, easy stop. 🌅Off the beaten path spot in Iceland.

Reykjavík’s iconic church and the city’s best viewpoint. Designed to echo Iceland’s basalt columns and mountain forms. Completed in 1986 and visible from almost everywhere in town. ⛪️

Parròquia de Sant Pacià
In Sant Andreu you find a quiet neo-Gothic church with an early work by Antoni Gaudí at your feet. Joan Torras Guardiola designed the church and asked his former student to draw the floor mosaic. It runs along the central nave and transept with floral and geometric motifs and the initials J and M from the original convent school.

Beautiful iconic church, free entry to see the interior with its magnificent organ. Its unique design is inspired by Iceland’s basalt lava columns, lines that rise like rock. There’s northern lights inspired lighting on Sunday nights, colors on the walls, incredible. Easy stop in the city center. ⛪️
St. Peter's Church
St. Peter's Church is a notable Gothic church in Riga's Old Town, originally built in the 13th century. Its most prominent feature is the tall spire, which visitors can ascend via an elevator for panoramic views of the city. The church's interior hosts art exhibitions and cultural events. The historic architecture, including the ornate altar and medieval sculptures, adds to its appeal. Visiting the tower on a clear day offers spectacular vistas over Riga.

The Santuario Madonna della Corona is one of the most stunning sanctuaries in Italy. 🏔️✨ Built right into the cliffs of Monte Baldo, it looks like it’s suspended in mid-air. Whether you take the long path from Brentino or the shorter one from Spiazzi, you’ll love the stunning views and the calm, reflective vibes
