A shutter painted in exchange for a space to create. In Barcelona, there are three formats for painting a storefront shutter: 1.Illegal. 2.Free style with permission. With the owner’s consent, the space is exchanged for the artist’s freedom to create whatever artwork they wish. 3.Commission. The owner requests a specific piece linked to their commercial activity and pays the artist for it.
