Okonomiyaki Mizuno
By @tabimawari
A beloved family-owned spot founded in 1945, located right in the heart of Dotonbori. Okonomiyaki are prepared directly in front of guests on a teppan grill. The house specialty is the “Yamaimo-yaki”—a lighter, flourless version made from grated yam. They also serve classic okonomiyaki with seafood or premium wagyu beef. The vibe is cozy, traditional, and full of character. 💴 Prices: – Standard okonomiyaki: ~¥1,200–1,800 – “Yamaimo” specialties: ~¥1,500–2,000 🎯 Touristy?: Very touristy. Always crowded, with constant wait times. No reservations—numbered tickets are given at the entrance.
